Fort Cornwallis is a fort located in Georgetown. Sir Captain Francis Light from the British East India Company first landed on Penang to use this island as a base or stop-over for British Crew. Interestingly, this fort was never used to engage in a combat. As a result, it’s purposed has been switched to administrative and storage. I took a walk through this premise to see the architecture and the beauty of this fort.
