This cozy restaurant specializes in one iconic dish. It is chả cá (Hanoi-style grilled fish). They prepare it so well that every bite feels like a hug from Vietnamese tradition.

Picture this: sizzling chunks of turmeric-marinated fish cooked right at your table with fragrant herbs like dill and spring onions. Pair it with vermicelli noodles, peanuts, and tangy fish sauce for a great umami~. Mix in a little shrimp paste if you’re feeling adventurous.

There is also a hot pot where cooking the fish and vegetables anytime. And it is the first time I ever tried banana blossom in hotpot. Yums

Vua Chả Cá has many outlets. I tried the one in this post.
